Financing projects
Businesses that wanted energy consulting services, financing and a grant support under the BEERECL,had to follow the four steps presented below:
ELIGIBILITY
Step 1
- Contact the consultant contact us or one of the participating banks and complete the application form
- Consultant then determines the eligibility of the proposed project
- Participating bank performs their initial creditworthiness review
APPLICATION
Step 2
- Consultant performs the energy audit and project cash flow analysis
- Consultant supports the business with developing the project business plan
- Business submits the loan application to the participating bank and the consultant provides the client’s business plan to the client
LOAN
Step 3
- The partner bank reviews the loan application and the business plan and decides on the financing
- Business signs the loan agreement with the partner bank
GRANT
Step 4
- An independent energy expert validates the project's completion
- If the validation is sucessful the business receives the KIDSF incentive grant
